The NODES project promotes the organization of Challenges aimed at students who, through innovative teaching paths, have the opportunity to develop new ideas and propose innovative designs and solutions.

The objective is twofold: 

to offer students the opportunity to interact with the corporate world, public bodies, associations and third sector entities of the Ecosystem territories through the "learning by doing" method, contextually developing entrepreneurial and multidisciplinary mindsets,  providing an opportunity for companies and other proponents to meet young talents and discover innovative solutions applicable within their realities.

The Students' Challenges of Spoke 5 is aimed at subjects outside the project, based in the Ecosystem territory, who wish to formulate technological and/or social challenges on the macro-themes:

• Innovative Technologies and Solutions for Territorial Medicine and Health
• Innovative Technologies and Solutions in preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitation (human and veterinary)
• Technologies and Solutions for pre-clinic and clinical research and testing
• Product innovation in pharmaceutical and biomedical (human and veterinary)
• Development of rehabilitation environments in VR
• Augmented telemedicine with outpatient clinics in the metaverse
• Live tracking of medical parameters via smart wearables
• Transposition of psycho-cognitive testing into the metaverse

The expression of interest in applying to collaborate is addressed to:

• Public entities, associations, third sector entities 
• Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MPMI)
• Large Enterprises (GI).

The Universities for which the call for the Students' Challenge is open are:

• the University of Eastern Piedmont
• the University of Turin
• The Polytechnic University of Turin.
