The MUR, within the framework of the PNRR, Mission 4 - Component - Investment 1.2 ‘Funding of projects submitted by young researchers’, has issued by Ministerial Decree no. 201 of 03/07/2024 the Public Notice for the submission of project proposals by young researchers.

The notice is addressed to researchers, of any nationality, aged no more than 40 years, or, for profiles older than 40 years and up to 45 years, who have completed their PhD no more than 7 years ago, on the date of publication (3/7/2024).

Young Researchers are eligible:

• winners of calls for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Individual Fellowships within the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme, including Standard European Fellowships and Reintegration Panels, and MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships under the Horizon Europe Framework Programme;
• who have been awarded a Seal of Excellence (SoE) following participation in calls for proposals related to the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships Individual Actions of the Horizon Europe Programme.

And who are in one of these conditions:

• having to acquire first experience as a manager of research funds and/or activities (i.e. Principal Investigator - P.I.);
• having to acquire experience in the leadership and management of a national and/or international research team;
• not have, or not have had before winning the European grant, a Full Time Equivalent (FTE) permanent contract as a researcher and/or professor.
