The ‘Age-it Spoke 10 Call for Proposals’ addressed to Universities, Public Research Organisations and Research Bodies is now open.
The Call for Proposals is funded within the framework of the Extended Partnership research programme ‘Age-It - Ageing well in an ageing society’, using the resources of the European Union-funded PNRR M4C2 Inv. 1.3 - Next Generation EU.
The call is addressed to actors outside the Age-it Extended Partnership, such as:
- Universities
- Public Research Organisations (EPR)
- Public and Private Research Organisations (RPOs) as defined in point 1.3 letter (ff) of the new R&D&I framework set out in Communication C (2022) 7388 of 19 October 2022
Projects may be submitted by individual proposers or in collaboration. In the latter case, the maximum number of partners, including the lead partner, is 3
The total budget earmarked for this Call for Proposals is EUR 2,156,000, of which 41.5% (i.e. EUR 895,000) is reserved for entities located in the Regions of Southern Italy.
The maximum duration of the project is 15 months; activities are scheduled to start by May.
The project proposals will have to envisage interventions consistent with the objectives of the Age-it project and, in particular, of Spoke 10. The call for proposals envisages four research themes, three of which in the ‘Quota reserved for the Mezzogiorno’, as shown below:

Proposals must be submitted via PEC protocollo@pec.uniupo.it starting at 12:00 noon on 29/1/2024 and no later than 12:00 noon on 29/2/2024.
The PEC must mandatorily indicate the following subject:
Age-It, Spoke10, BaC, Theme Code, Acronym of the submitted project
