ESN (European Student Network) is a university association that offers services to international students on mobility programmes, via the principle of Students Helping Students.      

ESN Italia is the Italian branch of the network, made up of volunteers who offer welcome services and advice to international students staying at Italian universities (in the search for accommodation, tutoring, cultural and recreational events, integration of student into local university life). It supplies an up-to-date information service on European inter-university exchange programmes, developing a systematic assessment via the first-hand experiences of students who took part themselves.

ESN Piemonte Orientale is the ESN Italia branch at UPO. It was founded in 2015 and has been operative since 2016. It fully complies with the original association’s principles. Each year, it organises fruitful “Welcome Days” for students here on transfer, linguistic “Tandems”, meetings in schools, and conferences.
